Lyracus is an independent Business and IT consultancy company setup to help organisations tackle complex issues in an innovative and creative way to achieve pragmatic solutions which enhance service, deliver efficiencies, grow business and reduce costs.
The services are targeted at a strategic level working closely with the board and senior managers of the organisation, also with the capability to direct programmes if necessary involving client or 3rd party resources delivering long lasting change.
Delivering value is key to Lyracus and it is not unusual for the costs of the consultancy services to be covered many times over from the cost reduction or business growth achieved from the successful delivery of the consultancy services. A ‘Better than Zero Sum’ outcome is always the aim of Lyracus and delivering value is second nature.
We understand that often organisations need expertise which does not warrant and is not cost effective for the appointment of a full time person to the organisation. Lyracus is able to deliver the necessary resources only for the duration required, which might be on a time limited basis or a flexible number of days a month. For example the ‘IT Director service’ or 'Chief Digital Officer service' where a full time IT director is not required and a similar service is also available for ‘Strategic Marketing Director services’ which are often not required on a full time basis. Further details can be found on the rest of the website.
Lyracus was established in 2004 by Chris Jones a professional with over 20 years experience and an MBA masters graduate specialising in strategy, marketing, creativity and finance with three further degrees in Law, engineering and information technology.
Lyracus has experience with Public and Private sector clients in the Banking, Manufacturing, Healthcare (NHS & Private) and Housing sectors with sizes ranging from organisations with 1500 staff up 250,000 staff.
